Violinist, educator and music producer Orlin Dimitrov started his music career at the very young age of four.
Orlin completed his Master’s degree in music at the renowned Guildhall School of Music and Drama (London). As part of his teaching career, he leads violin, viola, piano and music technology classes. Also, he directs the ARTISTIV St Joseph’s & Canonbury Music Centres.
Orlin has broad interests in various music genres. He performs music from the classical and contemporary periods, popular music and jazz.
He has a close, and long-lasting working relationship with the Korean contemporary composer Suk Jin Chang works by whom he presented at the International Music Festival ‘Apollonia‘ (Bulgaria).
He also produced the recording for the worldwide premiere of Beethoven's violin concerto transcribed for violoncello. The concerto was transcribed and performed by the violoncellist Stefan Popov.
Orlin is a prizewinner at the International Competition ‘Music and Earth’ - Sofia and National Competition for ‘Best Performance of a Piece by Czech and Slovakian Composers’
Concerts as a soloist and member of numerous chamber ensembles and orchestras have taken him to various countries like France, Switzerland, Italy, Bulgaria, Hungary, United Kingdom.
