What is the cost of the lessons?

We offer individual and shared lessons to both children and adults. 

The cost is the same across the board for both children and adults at £12.50, £18.75 and £25 per lesson.

There is a one-off £25 admin fee per application. 

For pupils sharing a slot or siblings applying at the same time, only one admin fee applies.

How long are the lessons?

Our lessons are 20, 30 or 40 minutes long. All available for sharing with a friend or sibling. The lesson fees are also shared.

What instruments do you offer?

We offer instrumental lessons for violin, viola, violoncello, flute, clarinet, saxophone, piano, guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, ukulele and drums.

You can request an instrument if you don’t see the one you want above. 

What about Music Theory?

We offer music theory preparation for graded ABRSM theory exams.

How often are the lessons? 

The frequency of the lessons depends on individual preference, typically once or twice a week. 

A combination of individual and group lessons is available. The Online sessions are available year-round, during the holidays or in addition to the face to face lessons.

Do you offer lessons for children with special needs?

We do work with ASD children. Please contact us to discuss your case. A decision is taken on a case to case basis.

What is the age range?

At the earliest, children can start at around the age of 5. Depending on the child, an earlier start is possible. A decision is taken on a case by case basis. 

Do you offer concessions?

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer any concessions.

How do I  apply?

Please download our Application Form here. Fill it in by using a PDF editor or print it out and fill it in by hand. Please do not forget to sign and date the Application at the bottom of the second page. Email it back to us or submit it at the school’s reception.

Do I have to re-enrol every term?

No. You only enrol once. Your lessons will roll over every term/academic year until you decide to discontinue the lessons.

I want to discontinue. What do I do?

Please give us six weeks notice of leaving by sending an email using our contact page here.

Do you provide instruments for hire, and what is the cost?

Yes. We have violins, violas and guitars. The cost is £25 per term plus a £50 deposit.
